Now 20-plus years later, Ferragamo’s life story moves from the pages of a e book to a one-of-a-form exhibit, “The Amazing Shoemaker: Fairy Tales and Legends about Sneakers and Shoemakers,” which celebrated its grand opening in Florence, Italy, yesterday on the Museo Salvatore Ferragamo.

The Ferragamo family—alongside Wanda Ferragamo, Salvatore’s widow and the brand’s honorary chairwoman—hosted the inaugural occasion that intimately revealed salvatore ferragamo belt saks fifth the magical life and legacy of the late designer by way of installations, comedian books, animation, quick films, stories and antique treasures.
